I love historical fiction based on actual events. I’m a big fan of The Tatooist of Auschwitz and similar books. There is so much to learn from the Wars and when it’s made personal with memorable, lovable characters you can really relate. I don’t think anyone could ever imagine the horrendous suffering people inflicted on others but books like this enlighten us a little.
