I normally judge books by covers if I’m shopping online or in store and I wouldn’t usually pick this upset BUT I was pleasantly surprised by how poignant and well-crafted the blurb and first chapters are! I’m a big fan of historical fiction and would like to broaden my knowledge through this text!
