Historical fiction is not really my go-to, however, the writing style of Ashes is incredibly beautiful, making the small sneak peek a very touching read.
Though I feel like this may be aimed more for an older generation, this definitely piqued my interest and looks to be a heartbreaking and harrowing story.
I especially liked the cover, too. It's eyecatching and haunting!
