I was intrigued by the blurb, and loved the cover, and my first impression of the first read was that I'm in for an emotional and hopeful read! Loved the way the story starts with the mother and sons' stories alongside each other. Two people getting on with their lives but with the threat of sad times lurking in the background through his illnesss. Really excited to read more - and I will have the tissues ready when I pick this book up as I think a tear or two may be shed!
