The opening to this book grabbed me immediately, Scott is a really engaging character and his shared house took me back to my student days! Having three children myself, I can't imagine what his mother Josie had been through. watching her son so gravely ill.
The First Look left at a really crucial point in the start of Scott and Josie's story and I just wanted to keep turning the pages. I think this is exactly the sort of book I like to read.
