I'm sure this will be a lovely book, but this is definitely not my regular read. The cover is beautiful and I get the impression the themes will be love, loss and how you would do anything to make your family happy. It sounds like it is going to be a bit too emotional and heart-warming for my liking and will likely appeal most to those who have had similar experiences to the characters.

I felt the stifled genius room-mate who sets up traps in the kitchen, has too much skin (like a lizard), and can't remember to buy milk was ridiculous. Combine this with the main character who has a heart-condition and is obsessed with large-chested women and you get a heart-warming and emotional tale which is refusing to take itself too seriously. All may become clear as the story develops, but I'm not particularly interested in finding out.
