After reading the first look I was eager to finish the story, and I was not disappointed!
The story was beautifully told, and demonstrated that it is not only the person (Scott) who falls ill that can be affected by illness. The story showed that when someone has a life altering condition it will play on everyone's mind and change anyone in connections life.
Scott's willingness to find a partner for his mother so she is not alone after he goes adds humour to an otherwise heartbreaking story. You can see how his actions are born out of the love he has for his mother and his acceptance of his illness, how ever ill fated the encounters may be.
Great read, I would encourage everyone to read it to gain a new perspective on life and the relationships within it.
