As soon as I picked it up and started reading I was hooked - this book was honestly one of the best I've ever read. This book has a continuous theme of love between the mother and son right the way throughout the book and it brought a tear to my eye at how much not only the son's life changes but the mother's does too.
The first couple of chapters were slow but it was needed to really enjoy the rest of it. Honestly stick with this book and it will be something you won't regret!
The characters are really relatable all the way from the beginning of the book and the way the whole book is strung together is really a thing of beauty. While it does contain some humour it never edges from the inevitable that is about to happen.
