This is definitely a similar style of writing to jojo moyes. It is gripping and emotional and portrays a mother’s love so strongly. Humour is in this story aswell with the YouTube video the son sets up to get his mom dating. The relationship between mother and son is told so well that it makes you even more invested in their lives. A lovely connection is made between mom and reader, we feel her pain at what her son is going through and we feel her lighten up as she goes on dates and becomes more than just a worried mom about her son. If you enjoy any jojo moyes style of books this is a must read. If you like an emotional story but not all bad this is a must read. It truely will have you smiling and laughing and crying and to experience so many emotions in less than 400 words ... well my hat goes off to any author whom can evoke such a human response to their story telling.
