A very moving and touching story but I found it so terribly slow moving at times and skim read a lot of the time. I was almost willing the book to end (not good!). Too much detail for my liking but a sad and gentle story line.
I loved how the author tackled all of the different opinions about what should happen and how everyone could find the best way to support Scott and cope with their sadness in their own way. I thought the story was very moving and I really enjoyed it and felt very sad when I reached the end.
There are some light and comic moments which lift the story and the author has always treated the subject matter with understanding, empathy and compassion.
Will be recommending this to everyone!!
