Oh my, I don’t think there’s many words for this book. I cried so much towards the end of this! If you liked me before you and the Jo Jo Moyes series then you need to read this as well.
Such an emotional ride, with both heartbreaking and uplifting moments. The true impact of the love between a mother and son is demonstrated so clearly and effectively in this book that you just wish you could be there to help.
Like I say, you’ll need a packet of tissues while you’re reading this and they’ll get used quite a lot.
But it’s not all sad like I mentioned, the introduction of Emily is just beautiful and I think she helped the characters to really blossom and develop feelings that had been tucked away for a while.
