The book delves into the obstacles faced by Scott and his mother Josie when his heart begins to fail after having a heart transplant when he is young. He is his mothers whole life taking care and watching his every move since he was first taken ill.
I struggled to get into the storyline during the first few chapters and found some of the content a little repetitive however once you read on you get wrapped up in the whirlwind of him trying to find his mother someone else to live before his time is up. And also finding someone to be his first love too. It is written beautifully and is definitely up there in the league of ‘Me Before You’. A story that fills your heart with warmth but also makes the tears flow. A must read.
