What an opening for a book! It hinted a lot at two of the most famous characters from 'of mice and men' in my opinion. Toby and Paddy are brothers and the story begins while they are out hunting. Happy with their catch, they return home to their parents, little do any of them know this is their last scene in life together as a family.
