The cover of this book caught my attention straight away with the contrast of the cool blue sky fading into the burnt orange of the landscape seemingly representing a sunset in the middle of a hot Australian summer. The story itself sounds great, I don't usually read historical fiction but that intrigues me thanks to the plot of the protagonists trying to regain their previous family fortune while also seeking revenge for their murdered parents. I may not read much historical fiction but I do love to read books where the protagonist has to fight to get back what they have lost so this does sound like a book I would really enjoy.
