Although this book seems well written and like it would appeal to many people, it didn't seem to grip me as much as some of the other first impressions that I have read. Until the action near the end of the extract, my attention seemed to waver a little as I was not completely hooked on it.
However, I would still love to give this book a chance with an open mind as not all good books grip you right from the start.
Overall, I would be happy to read this book if it were given to me (or from the Library) but I probably wouldn't buy it myself, just because it isn't really the sort of book I normally would go for.
