This isn't a book I would normally read or lift. When I read the plot I was intrigued and wanted to widen what I read so I started on it with no expectations and it turned out to be a really good read. The images of the characters came to life from the moment I read it. The description of the characters and scenes were so well written that I could imagine standing there with them. The story was just like the olden times. From what they wore to how they lived and how they spoke to each other. The characters Toby and paddy were just so nice and warming and would love to have them in anyones lives. The family they met and the enemies they came across were all brought to life in an amazing way.
