I won this great read by writing my first impression of the book, when I read the chapter or so I have to be honest, I was a bit disappointed and I didn’t think that ‘blood in the dust’ would appeal to me but I was open to having my mind changed so I entered the draw and luckily enough I won the book, all I can say is that the book does have a slow and I’m my opinion uneventful start but when you get further into the book you get engrossed in the well written plot and the way that the author provoked the setting and the characters allows us to paint a detailed picture of the the scene, story line and the characters in our head, over all a great read and I certainly would recommend this book.
