I passed this to my dad as it, on the face of it, looked to be his cup of tea. His review follows:
The cover of this really appealed, as did the blurb, so yes, i woukd have bought it and it certainly held promise. However, it seemed to struggle to get going and never really developed into a credible plot. There was definitely potential here but the characters were not fully developed and as a result I found it hard to care about the plot. I had started reading enthusiastically, but found it hard going.
I would try something else by this author, it may just have been the wrong book at the wrong time for me!
