This was a great story about fortune and misfortune of two Australian brothers and set in the out back in 1850's Australia. This is a story of revenge and wanting fortune and fighting angry and greedy outlaws. I learnt a lot from this story about the goldmine community in Australia and how close they became. It was a thrilling page turner which was at times a shocking and upsetting read but also the theme of the story was about hope. These brothers had to overcome heartache to a seek a better life and fortune for themselves. I liked the front cover of this book and the colours used. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys historical fiction and I look forward to more from this author.
