2 stars only because I have rated books I have really enjoyed with 3 stars so it's nothing personal.
Upon reading the first look I thought this would be an action packed western. However I found it quite methodic and dull. I felt like I was forever waiting for the story to start. It just didn't do it for me.
Toby and Paddy haven't had much luck their parents have been brutally murdered and their farm taken away. They adventure through the Australian outback to retain their riches to outwit the man who's taken away their farm and the bushrangers who murdered their parents. They group together with Maree, Annie and family which leads to a love at first sight and a quick blossoming romance.
