What a thrilling opening! Hooked from the beginninh the characters jumped from the page. Holcroft Blood has intrigued me, and I wish to read more of him. The characters of Thomas, and his 2 companions reminded me of the 3 musketeers in their witty conversations and skill at fighting. A brilliant section! Would love to read more of this.
