This has really divided my opinion....I love the top half of the cover with it's muted colouring and mysterious palace...and then the gaudy guns drew my eye and I felt that looked cheap and not the sort of book I'd read. Having said that, the premise is interesting, and it's set in a period of history I know little about and I'd be interested to read more, but I fear this may be a bit 'Dan Brown' for my taste...
