This is a book that is set in King Charls II reign, about a 'traitor' named Blood, and his two sons, Tom and Holcroft. The first page immediately captivates you, and as you reade further and further into the book, you get too see many points of views in the world, especially Holcroft (who i would say is the min character)
Holcroft has a special view of the world. I would say that he might have had Aspergers sydrome, which is when somebody has a completely different view to 'normal' society and has a vary of a slight to a major problem conversing and relating to the rest of the society around them, save for a few of people who have the same views as him. It also can happen to those who are exceptionally smart (such as Holcroft). Holcroft can decipher coded messages that would take normal clerks half the morning to figure out.
All in all, I think that this is an ecellent book, and I would recommend it to many others, such as anybody who is reading this review. You should go and buy this book!
