I definitely thought that when I started reading this, I would enjoy it, and I did for a while but slowly became less interested. These aren't the sort of books I usually read so I wanted to give it a go. It was very well written and I think it would've been an amazing storyline if I was able to get into it but I just couldn't. I've come to believe that historical fiction is probably not my cup of tea but this no way effects the quality of the book or the authors work.
I did find it very confusing and I think for the most part is why I didn't enjoy it and couldn't get into it. It took me a while to get through it because of this reason.
I think for the right audience, this book would of been amazing, and I wish I could've been one of those people as I really wanted to like it.
