Cassie the mortuary assistant seems to have an unusual talent for her job. I really enjoyed reading the sample chapters as each page had an interesting story. The characters are well constructed and almost believable. I love their relationships and the subtle references to classism. The author does a great job of setting each scene and providing just the right details.
