I almost didn’t open this one up as for some reason the cover didn’t grab me, but I’m glad I did! The writing is brilliant, and I immediately loved our lead character, Cassie - she has a kindness and warmth to her despite spending her time with dead bodies!
I look forward to reading more as I think there’s a lot to unravel about Cassie’s past, and the death of her old mentor.
