Already we have been introduced to a complex character in Cassie. Based in an interesting setting of a mortuary. The book is a page turner making me want to read on to hear more about Cassie and what will happen. I was dissappointed that the first read ended where it did. I also liked the book cover illustration. Definitely a book that I would take of a shelf in a bookshop.
