After reading chapter 1 I am intrigued!! I love how gothic and sinister this book is thus far.
Apart from reading the sneak peek, the cover itself also piqued my interest. At first glance the surgical scissors gave the illusion of knuckle dusters. Also, the fallen petals/ leaf? stained in bits of blood gives it a very sinister feel.
I am a goner when it comes to dark mystery and this book looks like the new perfect read for that.
