To begin with, I found the narrative at times a little confusing and slow. Crime is not a genre I tend to indulge with frequently, so this could explain my hesitation across the first few pages. As I continued, my interest grew, and I enjoyed the relatability of Cassie's character (the protagonist). I am deeply interested to see how the plot evolves and explore the further development of the characters.

Overall, the cover and the narrative of the book are very intriguing, and I am excited to continue reading.
