I thoroughly enjoyed this first impression - it was so easy to read. I warmed to Cassie immediately and felt like I was there with her in person. Having made Cassie a mortuary technician the author didn't shy away from any details, which gave the book some authenticity. I like the cover too - it is eye catching and definitely conveys the subject matter. I'd quite happily read on!
