Cassie seems to be such an interesting character, with a lot of depth to discover. I love how her apparent communications with the dead, and possible remnants of childhood trauma after the loss of her parents leads the reader to question the narrators reliability. It was also well written, bringing in the gory details of the everyday life of a mortuary assistant.
