This book shows a new talent in the forensic crime genre.
Cassie Raven is not what you think and the dead find a way to tell her things.
When a friend of hers turns up at the mortuary where she works Cassie is not only overcome by grief but also by the feeling that something is not quite right with her friend's death. Will she find out what happened?
DS Flyte is also overcoming difficulties and dealing with her own grief, but the two characters are brought together in this story.
This story is very well crafted and you find it difficult to put down.
The story twists and turns and the end is definitely not predictable to the reader.
The characters are well developed and I am hoping there will be more in this series.
Highly recommended to fans of this genre.
Thank you to the author, publisher and Reader's First in allowing me to read in return for a review.
