Now this has got to be one of the most unique crime thrillers I have read in a very long time!
A.K Turner has this amazing knack of engaging you within the depths of its story from the very start, no slow burning pace, it's a full throttle, head down and dive right in kind of writing/reading style.
The characters within the folds of this novel are exceptionally written. The character development is completely solid to the point you can picture them as clear as if they were stood in front of you.
The unique story line finds the main basis of the plot within a mortuary and it was clear to see that the author had substantially researched not only the surroundings but what truly goes on after death.
I honestly could not rate this book higher, it hits every note with precision and I cannot wait to see what the amazing Cassie and DS Flyte do next!
Oh and I obviously have to mention the cover... Wow! It's one of the most stand out covers I have seen, not only does the colour immediately catch your eye, the clever placement of the surgical instruments grab your attention and scream "Read Me" at you.
