What a good book!
Firstly, make sure you don't read this anywhere around food if you're the least bit squeamish. I started this book whilst eating dinner and let me tell you, I either had to put the book down or bin the food. It was not going to be a pretty sight if I'd carried on eating and reading!
This book touched on a lot of topics without making a massive deal about any of them. It's ultimately a whodunnit and I must say, it kept me guessing right until it was resolved. I loved how the themes of the book allowed for Cassie to be open about her sexuality without it becoming an issue in her life. She was just accepted for being who she was, without having to put a label on her sexual preferences.
I feel in love with Cassie's ability to "listen" to the dead - basically a very intellectual mind and the ability to remember and analyse key details, often overlooked by others.
I'm going to be keeping an eye on this author that's for sure!
