This book was highly unrealistic at some points which only added to the fantasy and mystery of it. It’s got dark themes without all the creepy gore of a lot of crime and mystery books.
I must commend the author on her character development and plot flow which were truly excellent and can not wait to see if she has any more books. Although it did not bother me too much I did find that this was quite wordy and dragged on towards the middle which could be hard for some people to get through and finish it. I do recommend you do preserve and finish it cause it’s worth it!
I would not however recommend this to somebody who is starting out reading all together or just getting into the crime and mystery genre as it is quite a heavy read. If however you read crime and mystery frequently and it is your genre this is an absolute must read.
