At a first glance, the mortuary emits a very mysterious and eerie vibe to the book giving it a well-rounded tension that will build up throughout the whole of the book. But I also feel as though the reader will await many plot twists following the plot of the book that will confuse the reader and that cassie withholds some secrets of her own that may be indulged into.
It seems nicely paced intriguing and grabbing the readers attention for long as possible without boring them.
