I thought this was a really awesome, easy to read, fast paced book that any individual who enjoys thrillers should give a try!
In this novel our main character is a gothic/ edgy mortuary assistant who's used to facing all kinds of tragedy and misfortune when she greets the dead at the mortuary until an old friend and mentor is on her latest caseload of work. Desperate to find out who did this to her beloved friend, Cassie is hellbent on seeing the case through and finding the murderer to make sure justice is served.
I really loved this book and the fresh concept of a punk main character, Cassie's character definitely reminds me of early day Garcia from criminal minds! The pacing of the book was on point, with there being a great build-up of tension to some of the major events within the book that always left you wanting more! I cannot recommend this book enough!
