I was really looking forward to reading and reviewing this book as I won it in a competition and the cover drew me in immediately. It was bright and eye-catching and I looked forward to curling up with it.
Really interesting premise to begin with and started to really get into it. But by the third chapter, the pacing started to slow down to the point where I was trudging through it. Really crawling along.
Even though the main character was trying to figure out what was going wrong she easily becomes really distracted from her purpose. I know she's human and all but it really deviated from what the book was about so much that I ended up finding it really boring. It's not a bad book, I just prefer mine more action-packed than what this book could give me. I'm sure there are others out there that will love the book instantly but it just wasn't for me. A 3 star for me.
