This is the first book that I read by A.K Turner and I have to say that I quite enjoyed it!
I didn't know what to expect and I really liked what I found!
I liked the main character, Cassie Raven, a mortuary assistant with a kind of gift that somehow allows her to listen to the dead.
Things start to spice up when the person she is in front of is one of her teachers and mentors: Mrs. E.
From here on, we have different suspects with different motives and opportunities, and there is a wild chase that unravels to get to the real murderer that has everything you can look for in a thriller: twists, turns, action, lies, police investigation and a lot of drama!
I liked how the events turned out and that final twist that I didn't expect!
It wasn't the best thriller I have read in my life but it sure entertained me a lot and I'll check everything she writes from now on!
