I really enjoyed the characters in this book. I can see it becoming a series with lots of twists and turns as their relationship grows.
The contrast in Cassie Raven and Flyte makes for good reading. You can see how Cassie brings out a different side to her and hers her see beyond her first impressions, although it really annoyed me at how judgmental she was in the beginning. I'm pretty sure she would have come across people who have piercings and wear 'alternative' clothing in places other than just Camden. She was almost shocked by Cassie's appearance and personality which I found quite hard to believe. Being in the police she would have encountered all types of society and not seemed so sheltered.
The mystery was easy to follow. It would be a good Introduction to crime if it isn't your usual genre, however if you are already a crime fan I think the plot would be a little too simple.
I was enjoying the ending and didn't guess who the culprit would be, but was disappointed when the reasoning was 'psycho' seemed a bit of a cop out really.
However I did enjoy reading and would recommend to someone as an introduction to crime or as a light read.
