Well this book finished rather abruptly, with definite room for a follow up of sorts.

Cassie works in a mortuary, she talks to her (dead) clients as she cuts them open to try and decipher the cause of their deaths and readies them for their funerals. She's good at what she does, but maybe a little too good as her findings can cause secrets to rise to the surface, when someone else really wants them to stay hidden.
Cassie's next client is her old school teacher, who died unexpectantly, and who she also hadn't heard from in a while. Taking it upon herself to find out how Mrs E really died, Cassie discovers that there is a lot more to the story then she ever expected!
With the help of recently transferred detective Flyte, can they find the answers they are looking for before it is too late?

A fun read, lots of little sideline stories running through the main one, linking them all together, but a very abrupt ending, leaving it wide open for a follow up book.
