From the front cover of this book to the last line - I couldn't set it down! I love all things gore, horror, murder and crime and this book gave me a real balance of light reading and some of the previously mentioned themes.
The career of pathology and study of the dead has always been something that has interested me, so if you find yourself to be on the same boat, or even enjoying anything with a bit of interaction with the deceased, this book is a great one to pick up. In the first few chapters, I'll admit, I was expecting the rest of the book to hold much more sinister elements but I was pleasantly surprised by the true themes (no spoilers though!)
I have to be honest here... I read this book in one sitting! It truly would have been a crime to put it down, but needless to say I will be reaching for it again to read in further detail, I imagine you could spot something new each time you read it.
I would definitely recommend this book to anyone! Regardless of what books you would normally go for, this is a great one to pick up that can easily be followed over a period of time (if you aren't as addicted as me) or in one sitting without leaving you totally exhausted or lost by the end. 10/10 can't wait to read more by this author
