I loved the way this book was written, judging by the extract. I loved how each movement and tiny detail were described but also how 'gory' it was. It was unsettling to read about the bodies and what they did with them but it because of how compelling it was, that was very fitting. However, the story was kind of difficult to read at times especially the grandmother scene.

As a Polish girl, I loved the aspect that the main character is Polish. Not many books have someone Polish as the main character. I suppose this is just personal preference though.

The only reason I gave this four stars instead of five is because I wasn't a huge fan of how the characters communicated. In my head, I couldn't imagine the conversations (or how the conversations were written) to have actually played out but rather it just seemed like a script. The dialogue was slightly 'cringe', I guess.

Nether the less, I loved the plot and definitely want to read more!
