I found this a slow starter however once I felt like the backstory was done with Cassie, I really felt the story come into its own. I loved Cassie as a character and I think she is strong, caring and witty! Loved her!
I liked the relationship between her and DS Flyte and I would hope this will continue into the next book!! I feel it is left open for another book and I would gladly read that too!
I really thought that there was potential for a couple of the storylines to have been tied up a little better, especially Owens. But that’s just my opinion.
Overall I enjoyed the book. It was easy to follow, written well and the narrative of the characters changing from each chapter to the next is my favourite thing!
