Body Language follows a bisexual hothic woman called Cassie Raven. Cassie works ass a mortician and can hear 'after thoughts' of the dead.
At first it felt like her sexual preference was very 'in your face' and was mentioned at any chance. It was unnecessary to mention her liking both men and women so much and there would have been better, more subtle ways to imput that information.
As for the story, it was 'ok'. I'm not a huge fan of Who done it mystery/thrillers and to me there just seemed to be too many twists and turns, I felt like a ping ping ball going from team Reed, to team blue and then to team yellow. The who done it is torn between three suspects, all of which have their own reasons. I just felt it could have had the same, if not better, outcome if it were simplified just a little. Complex storylines fail to keep my interest. There was a large error in the story. During a phone call between DS Flyte and her boss it was written 'He eyed her'. Well, how can he eye her if they're speaking on the phone?
