The introduction to the book gives a list of the major characters, which is rather daunting as it covers numerous pages and I thought I'd never get my head around them all, but it is well worth persevering and learning who they all are and how they fit into this true story.

Written by Mia and Olivia Flores who, along with their families, are in a witness protection programme, after their husbands, who were both drug traffickers at the highest level and then went on to become US informants and brought down many high level drug cartels.

They are not proud of what their husbands did before turning informant and have written the book in the hopes that the readers will see that along with great wealth comes great heartache.

It seems to be an honest account of what their husbands did and how they changed their lives around but as I knew nothing about any of them previously, I just have to assume that it is a truthful look into the lives of drug gangs with huge empires at their feet.

Once over the hurdle of knowing that there are so many players in this account and trying to remember who is who, this is an interesting and convincing read. Well done ladies.
