I had no idea about how much money could be made, how far it would stretch (building their own mansion), and how quickly it could all be taken away. The strength of these women, and the bravery of their husbands is both terrifying and admirable.
It took me a while to get through this book, because I always struggle to get stuck into non fiction. however, I really did enjoy it and found myself reading sections aloud to my family for them to share in my wonder.
