I wasn't sure what to expect from this book. I didn't really like the cover, and I wasn't sure I would be interested in reading about a world so unfamiliar. However, I really did enjoy it. The list of major characters at the beginning was a little off-putting. I thought I might find myself flicking back and forth trying to remember who was who, but I didn't. I enjoyed reading about the story through the eyes of Olivia and Mia; strong women who you can't help but have some admiration for. I liked how the book alternated between their stories; the bite-size chunks made it much easier to read and hold my attention. It was fast-paced, emotional and gripping. Not a book I'll forget anytime soon.
