Okay. You caught me. I am an absolute sucker for true crime. I mean I’m obsessed with true crime podcasts, books. You name them. I mean who doesn’t love a bit of true crime.
When i came across this book about ‘Cartel Wives’ the way i started smiling from ear to ear would make the average salary man think i was a psycho. This was amazing. I mean including some details about *whispers* el chapo. Oof now thats one thing to keep me interested.
What makes this even more better is that it speaks about the WIVES of the cartel. I always use to think that they were either treated badly or they would be free to spend all the money they wanted. Both statements are right. But to be honest those strong women are all just like us. They wanted love and protection. Someone to be there for them but unfortunately they ended up being dragged into the cartel.
Its a real nail bitter and heart wrenching book.
