Ive go mixed feelings about this book. It's not the sort of thing I would usually pick up -It was very worrying to learn more about this world and how people could get drawn in and then find it impossible to get out again. This is a true depiction of gang and drug culture. A view of life at the top of the drug world. Overall I don’t think this book was very well-written, the vocabulary was limited and sometimes rather repetitive. The colloquial language did give the characters personalities all of their own, but it just didn’t read very well. I really couldn’t relate to them and got a little frustrated with them. There was a fair amount of name-dropping too, which I felt was unnecessary. On balance though, it was informative- if you like that sort of topic you’ll love it.
